Touch means reality and reality sucks!

First off, anxiety is NOT a little bit of stress. It's NOT a small thing. It is actually known to be a mental illness . The difference is that stress is a response to a threat in a situation. Anxiety is a reaction to the stress! The distress that is caused by anxiety can keep you from carrying on with your normal life. I love my LIFE!!!!! I really do. I have family that love me. A few close friends who care for me. Two very interesting but awesome jobs. I have a good life, but there are things that get in the way sometimes and it causes my anxiety to get out of control. To the point where I actually feel physically tired and sick. I only know a handful of people that have this anxiety and it is hard to have this...issue. What do you do when it feels as though the world is "literally" crumbling beneath you! We all have our own remedies by now....

I read and I drink green tea. Yes that's it but it's not the only remedy I have. When things get down I read books of someone who relates to me in this way mentally and green tea calms me strangely. This book, Note To Self, is actually really nice and is a good read for half an hour. I want people who have this problem to know. IT IS OKAY! You will get through it and it will get better. You just need time!!
